Dalmatian
o Age; 12 yrs
o Sex: Male
Description:
• White with black spots
• Athletic structure ( well muscled with a deep chest)
• Short haired
Health: Healthy, mild arthritis in winter.
Nature:
Duke is a loving, devoted, exuberant and very independent dog; he is very playful and loves attention. He is a loyal people-like animal- however is not prone to children.
He is active and energetic, proud and is not too sensitive to disciplinary tones.
Duke is an outdoors dog, and needs a large space to run in, he is very vocal and will greet you with a toothy smile and snarl. He is sensible and alert- barks when necessary.
He has been trained to use only a part of the garden for offensive releases.
He eats any type of large breed dog pellets- 3 cups morning and night.
He does not enjoy or make use of a Dog kennel for resting.
Reason for re-homing:
Duke has been part of our family for 10 yrs; we originally adopted him from the SPCA.
We now need to downsize our home to a small complex structure, which does not permits larger animals- and realistically does not accommodate a garden for Duke to live in. We love him dearly, and would like peace of mind knowing that he is in a good, caring and loving environment.
Please advise if you have the capacity to adopt/ re-home him, and if you require any further info from us?
