Monkey and 3 of her friends were found dumped in a box on the streets of Langa township. All 4 of them were riddled with fleas, ticks and ringworm. They were in such a state when we first received them! After a few visits to the vet for special baths, a series of medications for a month (which they HATED!) and lots and lots of TLC, they bloomed into the most precious kitties ever! All 3 of Monkey's friends have been homed in wonderful new homes, but she is still patiently awaiting her turn. Let's face it, she is not the prettiest thing on the planet, but what she doesn't have in looks, she makes up for in personality and character! She loves to sleep under the covers with you and gets very excited at bedtime. She has overactive tearducts, so her little eyes weep a bit, making her face a bit dirty, so I like to give her a gentle face-wash every now and then. Wouldn't you like to take her home?
