Hi. Any breed of dog can become aggressive, a lot of it depends on how you bring him up. Staffies are great with kids if they are brought up with them, but always check on the parents and make sure the parents are not aggressive. If the breeder does not want you to meet the parents of the puppies be cautious. You will find that the really good breeders charge top dollar for their pups. Why not get a rescue puppy who, if brought up correctly will be a great family dog. I always believe that adopting a furkidz from a rescue organisation is the way to go. I have 7 of my own, most of them I got as adults and they are all great with kids. All the best.
