At feeding time, feed the male sharpei first, pretend to eat out of his bowl, spit the food out, then give it to him, do the same with the bullmastiff. If any of them walks away from the food, pick up the bowl. When they come up to you to ask you for attention, cross your arms and look up, only give them attention when they are sitting calmly, not asking for it. Always walk through entrances and exits first, the first one through the door is the pack leader. When people come to visit, they must greet you first, and only greet the dogs when they are sitting calmly. When the rank is in place you should be able to calmly start integrating your child with them. Is she a calm child or a high energy child?
