  • Hi. It sounds as if she is suffering from seperation anxiety which is a hard behaviour problems to sort out and can take a while. When you go out try to leave her with a huge yummy bone.Start off leaving her for short periods of time, like 5 minutes. Go through your normal ritual of packing yourself up, putting alarms on, etc. About 10 minutes before you leave give her about 3 rescue tablets. Just before you leave the house give her the yummy bone. Do not say goodbye to her. Just walk out and drive off. Go out for a drive for about 5 minutes. On returning home, pick up the yummy bone and ignore her until she is sitting calmly. An hour later, do the same but make the time longer everytime. Repeat this excercise every hour. NEVER shout at her or smack her as then she will be stressed even more when you go out as all she will remember is that she gets into trouble everytime you go out. Give this about 6 weeks and if it does not work please give me a shout. You may have to put her on some medication for her severe anxiety. Ask your vet about clomi calm. My no is 0798837566 if you would like to chat more about it.
