Problem Doberman
My parents, in their 70's own a 2 year old neutered Doberman who they adore. He has pulled my mother over, pulls washing off the line, wants to kill the 2 cats and has now taken to slipping out of the front gate and running amock in the street, refusing to listen and looking for cats and other dogs to attack. It is only a matter of time before he gets knocked over or hurts somebody elses animals. Do you have any suggestions?

Firstly I think your parents should take him for obedience training so that he cal learn the basics. With regards his aggression towards cats I would need to do a session to sort this problem out. He needs to get walked for at least an hour everyday and if your parents cannot do it then I suggest they get a dog walker in who can. He sounds like a dog that has too much energy with nowhere to put it. Please give me a shout on 0798837566.
