Tim Flach's photography is incredible, and I suppose he is a victim of his success in that you start to hold each picture to such high standards. He uses his camera for capturing dogs characteristics and beauty. Each page of this book is a work of art. He has a way to communicate with his subjects and create something magical.
I didn't know the writing would be important as well. Each photo is accompanied by a page of information on the breed. The text discusses the evolution of dogs, the importance of their relationship with humans, as well as current breeding practices.
